Production Facility
Built for Scale, Ready for Export
A complete SATAKE milling unit — husking, milling and processing paddy at 30 tons an hour, with a proven track record and three silos of on-site storage.
The Facility
From a 5-ton unit to the region’s largest mill
RRM started in 1998 as a small milling unit with local, Chinese and Japanese machinery, husking 5 tons of paddy an hour. In February 2020 the family installed a brand-new 30-ton-per-hour SATAKE plant — today RRM stands as the largest milling facility in the Kalar Belt, with three silos holding 3,009 tons of storage.

Our Process
From paddy to dispatch, every step accounted for
Every batch moves through the same controlled sequence — sourced, inspected, dried, milled and tested before it is ever packed for a customer.
-
01
Paddy Procurement
Quality-approved paddy is sourced from reliable suppliers and farmers.
-
02
Raw Material Inspection
Paddy is checked for moisture, impurities, grain quality and other parameters.
-
03
Pre-Cleaning
Dust, stones, straw and other foreign materials are removed.
-
04
Drying
Paddy is dried to achieve the required moisture level for efficient processing.
-
05
De-Husking
The outer husk is carefully removed to obtain brown rice.
-
06
Paddy Separation
Remaining paddy is separated from brown rice for further processing.
-
07
Whitening & Polishing
Brown rice is processed to achieve the required whiteness, appearance and finish.
-
08
Grading & Sorting
Rice is graded according to grain size, length and quality. Broken and defective grains are separated.
-
09
Color Sorting
Advanced color sorting removes discolored and unwanted grains.
-
10
Quality Inspection
Final rice is inspected and tested according to customer specifications and food-safety requirements.
-
11
Packaging
Approved rice is packed in the required packaging and weight specifications.
-
12
Final Inspection & Dispatch
Finished products undergo final verification before being dispatched to customers or loaded for export.
Quality Lab & Testing
Measured before it ships
Physical parameters and Aflatoxin are checked and tested in the mill’s own lab. Other mycotoxins, water testing, radioactivity and chemical residue testing is outsourced to recognised and approved external laboratories.
3rd-party pre-shipment inspection and sampling is available as per global regulations and testing by SGS & SCBS (Eurofin), or by the buyer’s own quality assurance team on request.
